Southwest Ohio: Cincinnati – Dayton
Southwest Ohio is two fuel worlds stacked together. In the older Cincinnati and Dayton neighborhoods, oil heat hangs on in basement after basement — the classic 275-gallon tank at the bottom of the steps, fill pipe by the driveway. Get ten minutes outside the suburbs, into the Warren, Butler, and Preble County farm country, and it's propane territory: 500- and 1,000-gallon tanks behind barns, heating houses that the natural-gas lines never reached. The delivery reality here is the hills — Cincinnati's river hills mean steep driveways, tight streets, and drivers who'd really like your fill pipe reachable in the snow. Companies below serve this region with oil, propane, or both, exactly as each states.
